Eligible applicants will have completed all academic requirements, and\/or residency (if applicable) by the beginning of the award period.<\/p>\n<p>Applicants should exhibit outstanding potential for a successful career in a spaceflight-related biomedical science research field. This award will provide a supportive mentored experience during a defined period of transition from trainee to independent investigator. The goal of this award is to improve the investigator&#8217;s success and retention in a space-related research career.
