The 2003 NSBRI Summer Interns and their home institutions are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Anton Aboukhalil, McGill University<\/li>\n<li>Andrew Abercromby, University of Houston<\/li>\n<li>Eric Feiveson, Rice University<\/li>\n<li>Katharine Forth, University of Houston<\/li>\n<li>Milan Lombardi, Vassar College<\/li>\n<li>Vickie Maul, Georgia Institute of Technology<\/li>\n<li>James Rexroth, University of Texas at Austin<\/li>\n<li>Waralee Sattam, University of Texas at Austin<\/li>\n<li>Audrey Schaffer, Massachusetts Institute of Technology<\/li>\n<li>Madhurita Sengupta, University of Texas at Austin<\/li>\n<li>Justin Seret, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute<\/li>\n<li>Leah Zidon, Truman State University<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&quot;The summer program is an excellent opportunity for students to gain exposure to space biomedical research and have mentors who are space life scientists,&quot; said Dr. Jeffrey Sutton, NSBRI Director. &quot;The program allows us to help inspire the next generation of scientists.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>The NSBRI, funded by NASA, studies the health risks related to long-duration space flight with peer-reviewed research and education projects at more than 70 institutions across the United States.
