The National Space Biomedical Research Institute extends congratulations to NASA’s workers and contractors for the successful landing of the Mars Curiosity Rover on the surface of the Red Planet. In addition to being a scientific and engineering milestone for robotic missions, Curiosity and its predecessors on Mars’ surface provide valuable information that will be beneficial to the eventual future human missions to the Red Planet. All of us at NSBRI eagerly await more breathtaking imagery of the Martian surface and the important scientific data that Curiosity will provide humankind.
